I’m Isabelle Evans — a dancer guided by curiosity, collaboration, and the power of movement to express what words cannot. Born and raised in Dorset, England, I began dancing under the direction of Tiffany Longley-Wolff. My journey has carried me from the studios of the English National Ballet School to New York City, where I graduated Summa cum Laude from the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program with a double major in Dance and French.
Dance has always been my language — a way to connect, to question, to breathe. It has allowed me to explore the works of Sir Wayne McGregor, William Forsythe, Crystal Pite, Jiří Kylián, Lar Lubovitch, Martha Graham, Sir Matthew Bourne, James Pett, Travis Clausen-Knight, and Marco Goecke.
I’ve performed in Matthew Bourne’s Romeo and Juliet and danced with Peridance Contemporary Dance Company and PCK Dance. Across stages from London to New York, and festivals such as Jacob’s Pillow, dance has become both my language and my compass.
Through performance, creation, and teaching, I continue to explore the spaces where movement becomes emotion — where truth, connection, and transformation take shape in motion.
